TODAY, being the first Saturday/Sunday of the month, the loose (undesignated) offering will be given to the Vicar and the Deacon for their Discretionary Funds. Your generosity is appreciated.
AT THE CONCLUSION OF TODAY’S EUCHARIST, those desiring to receive the Laying-on-of Hands for healing are invited to come forward and kneel (or stand) at the Altar Rail.
Wednesday 6 August 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Nativity Eucharist for the FEAST OF THE TRANSFIGURATION
THE NEXT PARISH OPEN FORUM will be held at Christ the King, Sturgeon Bay, at 6:00 p.m. on
Tuesday 19 August at 6:00 p.m. This gathering is designed to provide parishioners with a format for voicing ideas, asking questions, making observations, and raising concerns about our common life. The goal: What can we do to improve our life together? Please join us on the 19th.
THOSE WHO MAY BE running in arrears in their pledge payments are respectfully requested
to bring their commitments up to date. We are currently running about $5000 behind in our anticipated pledge income for the first six months of this year. If you need to adjust your pledge or have a question, please speak to Challoner Brown, Treasurer, Julie Hathaway, Sr. Warden, or Fr. Hillman.
THE VICAR would like to set-up an 8 week rotation (8 volunteers needed) of adults who would be willing to accompany our Christ the King Nursery attendant in her duties on Sunday mornings. This would mean being in the Nursery from 9:30-10:30 a.m. once every two months (assuming that we can get eight volunteers). If you can help, please speak to Fr. Hillman.
EVEN IN DOOR COUNTY there are many hungry people with great needs. Please contribute generously to our ongoing collection of food, personal care items, and cash to assist the needy through the local Lakeshore CAP Pantry and other service agencies.
